Working From Home - Great Choices For People With Disabilities

I was laid off after working as a daycare director for thirteen years. Although I needed to work, I was having physical problems that was making it very difficult to hold down a full time job. I am a firm believer in not getting on disability unless you really, really need it, and even then, I feel it should be a last resort. Now don't get me wrong, there are some people who HAVE to be on disability. And to them I say God bless you! However, for those that have other options, there are many great opportunities out there. If you are willing to work hard and be consistent, then you can achieve success. Who wants to settle for a small check each month when they can have a lucrative home business, plus the satisfaction of accomplishment. The two work from home opportunities I am going to discuss today, are two that most anyone can do. As long as you have a computer, and access to the internet, then you're good to go. If you are unable to sit at a desk for long periods of time, then a laptop might be better suited to your needs. With a laptop you can sit on a couch or in a recliner and stay more comfortable.
Affiliate Marketing
Affiliate Marketing affiliate marketing is always a good way to make money from home. You are simply promoting someone else's products for them, while not having to worry about actually handling the product yourself, or dealing with shipping and handling etc. However, If you have no experience with affiliate marketing, and most people don't, then I suggest you sign up with a good affiliate program. For a very small fee they will teach you everything you need to know about affiliate marketing. There are some very good programs out there, it is just a matter of finding the best one for you. Be careful and do your home work. There are a lot of scams out there, and affiliate marketing is not a get rich scheme.
Freelance Writing
If you feel that affiliate marketing is not for you. Then another good "work from home" opportunity is freelance writing. You can make good money writing for article directories, posting on writing job sites, or answering personal writing job adds. The good thing about freelancing is that even if you have no prior experience with writing, you can still make money. O.k, you might say "you've got my attention, so what's the deal?" Well, the truth is that technology has made it very easy for us to do things that we could not do in the past. There is excellent writing software out there that will actually do most of the work for us. Some software requires very little interaction from the writer, and will even submit the article after it is finished. And believe it or not, it does a very good job.
Living with a disability can be challenging, but it does not have to keep you from being successful financially and achieving your dreams like everyone else. Take inventory of your life, and ask yourself if you are happy with the direction your life is headed. If not, then start taking steps today to begin building a better future for you and your family.
